From: Directors - Producers - Actors

"Rami is a truly exceptional warm-hearted individual who delivers captivating believable performances that are testimony to his immense talent and scope as an actor of the highest calibre. Rami's professional approach to his work and complete commitment and dedication to the production were simply impressive and added greatly to the quality of the finished film. I'm very much looking forward to working with Rami again as soon as the next project that fits his profile appears on the horizon."

GELA JENSSEN – Director of TO UNWILL A HEART / BLOOD

"Rami was an absolute treat to work with; a talented, hardworking and personable guy, he threw himself into the role and everyone loved doing scenes with him. Not only that, but he make a charismatic villain and have added his considerable star presence to the role to make it a truly memorable film."

MILES WATTS – Director of CRIMEFIGHTERS / ZOMBLOGALYPSE

"Working with Rami was an absolute pleasure, for not only does he bring experience, talent and a willingness to take the character to another level, he does so with humility and with a great sense of humour. Looking forward to renewing our collaboration."

JA'FAR ABD AL-HAMID – Director of MESOCAFE / A TWO HOUR DELAY

“Rami Hilmi is a great pleasure to work with, even in the most intense conditions, and he always gives 110%. I respect Rami as an actor because he is willing to take risks on parts and give everything a real edge, and he really is diverse in his parts. I have had the pleasure to work with this actor on several occasions, and every part has been a totally different and a real challenge in which Rami has always been prepared and ready for action!”

JASON IMPEY – Director of TORTURED / TROUBLED & Co-Director of DEMON SCROLL / END TRANSMISSION.

"Rami Hilmi is 'Versatile' 'Ambitious' 'Courageous' and Honest actor, These are some of the qualities I use to describe one of the most gifted and hard working actors I have had the pleasure to work with. Rami handles his gift as an actor with honour and maturity. I hope I have the pleasure of working with Rami on many occasions to come.”

KEMAL YILDIRIM – Director of SECRETS / ROSE / PENANCE & Co-Director of END TRANSMISSION.

“Hi Rami, I thought your showreel was very good. You show tremendous versatility as an actor from a tough guy to sensitive. Also a natural martial artist! Very broad ranging, I'm sure we'll get the chance to work together someday...keep in touch! I had a look at your website, looks like you've been working a lot, and I bet you'll be working a lot more! Have a great week. Best wishes, Matt.”

MATT DAMON – Actor GOOD WILL HUNTING / SAVING PRIVATE RYAN / THE BOURNE TRILOGY.

“Rami, I must say that I was impressed with the versatility in the characters in your reel. I found it well edited and seamless. My only comment or question would be where is your primary interest? Film or shadow/commercial spots? Your strength is in real acting. I am sure you have studied The Human Condition. In other words, you are strong in getting the audience to associate with real in the moment feelings. Your "character" roles were good and humorous, but your IN THE MOMENT - HUMAN CONDITION - OH, I KNOW HOW HE IS FEELING roles towered over the other spots. I wouldn't change anything.”

JEFF GOLDBLUM – Actor THE FLY / JURASSIC PARK / INDEPENDENCE DAY.

"Working with Rami has been an absolute honor and I can honestly say that he is one of the most dedicated, professional and hard working actors around. Rami's loyalty to a project from pre to post is a wonderful attribute in an industry which can often be very unreliable. His attention to detail and desire to discover a character's inner motivation is a breath of fresh air and I would love to work with Rami again in the future (whether he wants to or not!). A true professional and good friend!"

DAVID CARSON – Director of ME & ZEUS.

"Rami brings an indefatigable enthusiasm to any role. He has the dexterity to create multi-faceted characters with limitless depth and oodles of sincerity. It was a blast working with you brother!"

MARC PRICE – Director of COLIN / MIDNIGHT.

"Rami is one of the most professional actors I have worked with. He is fun and generous to work with both on an off camera and extremely reliable. Rami came on board my project as an actor but he helped out behind the scenes supporting other actors and the crew. He is a strong team player who puts 100% into everything he does. Since working with Rami I now consider him to be a good friend."

RICK ROBERTS – Director of SEE IT THROUGH / LIVED.

"Since we first worked together in 2004 I have high consideration and high hopes for Rami. That was his first short film and he already had so much talent. Four years later and we can't stop working with him, he's too good, and he keeps bringing more and more people together. For every film idea I have there's a character perfect for Rami to step in. Such a professional guy, a great friend and a great person to have around. Rami carries such good energy around that working with him lifts the spirit of all involved. I'm more than happy to say that once again we have Rami as one of our main players on a project. I expect great things from this one."

HUMBERTO MICHELACCI – Producer of THE KILLING GAME / CORRE / STONEHENGE.

“Rami Hilmi is a great Colleague and a great friend of mine. We met on a film and his personality and talent are the reasons we became such good friends and Definitely an actor I cherish and always know I can rely on to deliver what I need. I have a small list of people I will always work with no matter what the weather and that I always look forward to stepping on set with and Rami is right up there in the small list. Its very hard finding industry professionals that have exactly that...professionalism and also the talent, Rami scores well in these areas and on top of that he really is a great guy and very easy to work with. You can be honest with him and actually 'direct' him without any hassle. He's always willing to help out and also something that’s very important to me; he is an actor who understands what goes on behind the camera and he has no problems stepping behind it if needs be. Overall I consider myself lucky to have him in my corner and someone I can always count on for 100% quality performance and a great friend who wont let me down and I'm certain anyone who has worked with him would say the exact same.”

RUSS DIAPPER – Director of SPIRITS OF THE FALL / DEADLY PURSUIT.

“Rami Hilmi as an actor has the skills that make it easy for me to direct him for movie productions. My experience with directing Rami is that he takes directions quickly, is able to adapt when the directions change, and brings creative input that suits his character and the emotional arc the character is undergoing. For example, Rami produced a laughter as a villain character which made the dramatic moment even more effective. He is aware of the camera, doesn't blink or look into the lens, yet stays in frame. In addition, Rami contributes to the shoot by bringing his own clothes and adjusting his facial hair to what is suitable for the part. He is in close contact with the director and make-up artist without exhausting their valuable time. In short, I will employ Rami as an actor for any movie project that calls for his character and all of the cast and crew on our recent cooperation for the short fiction film MATA HARI: Eye of the Day would want to work with him again.”

WILLEM VAN HEEMSTRA – Director of MATA HARI: EYE OF THE DAY / SHINJU.

"I've not yet met an actor like Rami with such passion for film making in general. A great guy to just hang around with whilst shooting, who is not afraid to speak up and bring something new to the table. Honest and outspoken, Rami will always bring something interesting to every character he takes on, and holds an interest in the project all the way through post-production until he can see the final cut, and then continues to sing praises about the production. Rami will freely talk about other productions he has been on, sharing ideas with all. I'm glad to have met Rami and can see myself working with him for a long time to come."

SHAUN DUNNE – Director of CORRE / ALIEN RUNNER / ALIEN RUNNER II.
